How do I cancel my Monzo Contents Insurance?

You can cancel your insurance in the app by following these steps:

  • Go to the insurance section in your app and tap on your active policy

  • Click on the cog on the right hand side of the screen

  • Click ‘Cancel policy’

  • If you’re eligible for a refund, we’ll let you know the amount

  • If you want to continue and cancel your policy, click ‘Cancel insurance’.

We'll cancel your cover with immediate effect and we don’t charge any cancellation fees.

If you haven’t made a claim, we’ll refund you for the days you’ve paid for but haven’t used. If you have made a claim, you won’t receive a refund of any payment you’ve already made.
