Are Savings Pots protected?
Any money you save with us up to £85,000 is protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The FSCS applies this limit to each person, and to the total amount of money you have with each provider.
That means that any money you have in the following accounts or Pots will count towards your limit of £85,000 with Monzo:
current accounts
joint accounts
regular Pots
Instant Access Pots
Instant Access Cash ISAs
Any money you have in Savings Pots provided by our savings providers will count towards your limit of £85,000 with them (not us).
And if you have accounts with those partners outside Monzo, those balances also go towards the same £85,000 limit with each provider.
