Making a bank transfer

You can transfer money to anyone with a UK bank account. You’ll need their name or company name, plus their account number and sort code. Transfers usually happen instantly, but they can sometimes take up to 24 hours.

You can also send international transfers through the Monzo app, although depending on what currency you need to send you might need to set up a Wise account. And you can read more about receiving international payments using your IBAN in this help article.
