Why does Monzo need precise location permissions?
Why do you need my precise location?
To be able to take contactless payments we’ll need you to give us access to your precise location.
That’s because Stripe (who process the payments) need to know where payments happened for security reasons.
How do I switch on precise location permissions?
Head to your phone’s Settings
Scroll down and look for Apps or Applications and tap on it
Tap Monzo
Tap Permissions or a similar option
Look for Location or Location permission and tap on it.
Look for an option that mentions "precise" or "exact" location and make sure it’s switched on
And you’re all set!
