Can I transfer a GIA?
Currently we do not allow for transfers of general investment accounts (GIAs) to or from Monzo. If you want to move your general investment account, you’ll need to sell down the investments to cash and reinvest them either with Monzo or elsewhere.
When selling investments in a GIA, depending on your circumstances, you may need to pay tax on any returns you’ve made.
