Switching off your overdraft
You can switch off your overdraft anytime, as long as you’re not using it. Just keep in mind that if your credit file changed since you took your overdraft out, you might not be able to turn it back on.
Here's how to switch off your overdraft in the app:
Tap Home in the Monzo app
Tap the three dots on the current account card
Select the Overdrafts option
You’ll see the option to reduce your limit to £0 from here
If you'd prefer we removed your overdraft entirely so you can't switch it back on, please get in touch with us in the app:
Tap the Help icon in the menu bar
Search ‘Switching off your overdraft’
Tap Get in touch
