Pots for children
A Pot is a place in your account where you can keep your money separate from your main balance. Both you and your child can create Pots for an Under 16s account. You can also both add and withdraw money from child Pots.
They’re a handy tool that can help children to save for the things they want.
Viewing and creating Pots
Go to your Under 16s account in your app.
Their Pots sit under their activity section.
Tapping the 3 dots reveals a menu of actions that includes creating new Pots and sorting Pots (changing which order they appear in and hiding or unhiding).
Locking a Pot
You can lock your child’s Pots – helpful if the money’s for a specific purpose.
Locking a Pot when you create it: Turn Lock this Pot on. Set the date when you’d like it to be unlocked.
Locking an existing Pot: Go to the Pot and tap the Settings cog in the top right. Turn Lock this Pot on and set the date when you’d like it to be unlocked.
You can unlock a Pot at any time in Pot Settings.
